Scott County Board of Health Addie Rogers, President Mary Jane Coultas, RN, Secretary MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Scott County Health Department is to assure access to acceptable and appropriate health care, to enhance the quality of life through education, health promotion, and prevention of disease. Through responsible use, and availability of its resource, the department will provide those services which are mandated to it as a unit of government and will provide those services which are identified as needed by the community health needs. VISION STATEMENT It is our vision to identify health needs and to seek opportunities to develop partnership with the community and other health providers to assure access to services, to educate our community regarding regulatory and public policy, and to improve and protect the quality of life within our community.
